PREVIEW
- Clemson opens the 2025 home slate on Thursday, Sept. 4 with the first of back-to-back games against North Carolina A&T
- Thursday and Friday’s matchups will be the second and third time the two programs have ever crossed paths on the volleyball court – Clemson claimed a four-set win in Jervey Gym back in 2021
- The Tigers return to Jervey Gym for the first time in 2025 with a perfect 3-0 record for the best start by the program since 2022
- One of the Tigers victories from opening weekend included a 3-2 victory at South Carolina for the first victory against the Gamecocks in Columbia since 1994 and the second five-set victory against the Gamecocks in the last four seasons
ALUMNI WEEKEND
- Clemson is opening up Jervey Gym with a splash in 2025 by welcoming 49 years worth of alumni back home on Sept. 4 & 5.
- The Tigers is slated to recognize and honor the alumni cohort that returns to Clemson between the second and third sets of Friday evening’s game
- Bridging the gap between the current roster and the alumni is assistant coach Mo McKenney – famously known in Jervey Gym as Mo Simmons, a 2013 All-American and First Team All-ACC selection
- McKenney was a four-year starter for the Tigers and returned to Clemson in the spring of 2025 as an assistant coach with the program
