Clemson, S.C. – Clemson women’s golf returns to action Monday, Sept. 8-9, at the 21st annual Cougar Classic hosted at Yeamans Hall Club in Charleston, S.C. The Tigers enter the tournament fresh off their season-opening victory at the Tiger Classic.
The Cougar Classic will feature a 54-hole format played on the 6,269-yard, par-71 layout, with 17 teams in the field, including five ranked in the Golfweek preseason top 30. Clemson will begin play on Monday with 36 holes and a shotgun start at 8 a.m. before wrapping up with the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
The Tigers’ lineup will be led by Juliette Demeaux, who is coming off her first collegiate win as co-champion of the Tiger Classic after posting a 7-under performance in the one-day, 36-hole event. She will be joined by Sarah Uebelhart, Isabella Rawl, Keya Naik and Sydney Roberts, with Ivy Schulze competing as an individual.
The tournament field includes: Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, LSU, NC State, Auburn, Florida, Penn State, Boston College, Yale, Georgia, Furman, Miami, Maryland, Georgetown, Tennessee, UCF and host College of Charleston.
