No. 4 Tennessee (39-5, 16-2) defeated No. 13 Florida (32-14, 8-10 SEC), 10-6, Monday at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
The Lady Vols completed a series sweep against Florida. Tennessee has won eight straight games and six consecutive SEC series.
Tennessee trailed, 5-4, before scoring three runs in the fourth inning.
The Lady Vols’ fourth-inning rally began when Rylie West and Brylee Mesusan scored after Mackenzie Donihoo reached base on a Florida error.
The Lady Vols added scored on an RBI single by Jamison Brockenbrough.
Tennessee scored three runs in the fifth inning after West hit a three-run home run.
Payton Gotshall (11-0) pitched six innings in relief, allowing one run, five hits and recorded five strikeouts.
Former Lady Vol Monica Abbott was honored before the game.
