What a terrible few weeks it’s been for the Oklahoma Sooners baseball team. Everything was looking up after a three-game sweep of the TCU Horned Frogs. Since then, the Sooners have lost five of their last seven.
That includes a three-game sweep at home vs. Lamar this past weekend. The Sooners have fallen to 15-12 on the season and out of the top 25 as well.
Now, they take on Wichita State in a midweek game before a weekend series against the Oklahoma State Cowboys who they lost to in a midweek game a few weeks back.
Wichita State comes in at 18-9 but the Sooners were able to pick up a win against the Shockers earlier in the season. That was obviously when Oklahoma was flying high, but maybe they can regain some momentum against a tough opponent on Tuesday evening.
