The Giants finish the season with a record of 80-82, finishing fourth in the NL West. During his second year in the show, Walker pitched 80 innings across 76 games. He had a record of 10 wins and 4 losses with a 1.91 ERA. In those 76 games, Walker contributed 21 holds and 10 saves for the Giants. He totaled 99 strikeouts and only gave up 17 earned runs. Batters only hit .179 against him and Walker had a 0.85 WHIP. Walker had the fourth most strikeouts on the team but the most of any reliever. He had the lowest ERA on the team for pitchers who had pitched more than 20 innings. He had the second-most saves on the team.
 
Walker was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 31st round of the 2018 MLB Draft. After spending five years in the minor leagues, he made his MLB debut on May 21st, 2023 against the Marlins, pitching a no-run 6th inning leading the Giants to a 7-5 win.
