Curious to see the contract details (not released at the time of me posting this).. my first thought is, wherever Joc can fill for your team, Lowe can do the exact same and his cost is surely gonna be in a similar ballpark. And don’t get me wrong, I love Joc, but wouldn’t you rather have Lowe? Personally I would. At least I’d play Lowe at first and keep his gold glove defense and bat and whatever log jam I was fearing I’d DH for the time being but I would trade Lowe for garbage and what appeared to be a small salary dump due to a positional log jams, just to go sign a freaking DH only who would roughly cost the same and hits in the same network. Idk.
On another know, if your a Yankees fan, you got to be a little upset that Lowe was traded for dirt cheap and is a little cheaper and better than what yall ultimately got in PG. maybe PG bounces back to his old self a little but gosh… I’d want Lowe over PG in NY all day considering each of their cost
