Cal Baseball Alumni Game Set For January 25

The Cal baseball program’s annual alumni game is slated for Saturday, Jan. 25.

Bears Begin 2025 Season With 10-Game Homestand Starting February 14

BERKELEY – The California baseball team will host its annual alumni game at Stu Gordon Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 25. The contest will feature the 2025 roster against a host of former Golden Bears from previous seasons. First pitch is slated for 1:05 p.m. PT. The event is open to the general public and admission is free.

All Cal baseball alumni are welcome to attend either as a participant or spectator and can RSVP online. Participating alumni should check in at Stu Gordon Stadium at 10:30 a.m.

Cal begins its first season as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2025 with a 10-game nonconference homestand that starts with a four-game series against Nevada (Feb. 14-17). The Bears will host five ACC opponents – Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, NC State and Virginia – at Stu Gordon Stadium with the latter three all participants at the 2024 College World Series.

“We are looking forward to our first baseball season in the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2025,” head coach Mike Neu said. “It is a competitive schedule and some of the best college baseball teams in the country are coming to Berkeley. We believe our fans will enjoy a good brand of baseball and show up strong to support our team.”

Cal is coming off a 36-19 campaign in 2024 that was capped with wins in 20 of its final 25 games. The Bears’ .655 winning percentage was its best since the 1966 squad was 32-14 (.696). Cal reached the semifinals of the Pac-12 Tournament and narrowly missed a spot in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

Tickets for the 2025 Cal baseball season are on sale at CalBears.com.
