JUPITER, Fla. – The Marauders rallied for six runs in the third inning Sunday afternoon and never looked back, coasting to a 9-2 win over the Jupiter Hammerheads at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.

The win ended a five-game losing streak for the Marauders (16-17), who avoided being swept in a series for the first time since 2019.

All ten of the batters who appeared in the game for Bradenton reached base safely, with Juan Jerez’ three hits and Tsung-Che Cheng’s three RBI leading the club. The Marauders went 6-for-13 with runners in scoring position.

Right-hander Joelvis Del Rosario (1-1) earned the win, striking out a season-high seven batters in five scoreless innings while allowing just three hits and two walks.

Reliever Luarbert Arias forced home a fourth run by hitting Jakob Goldfarb with a pitch, and Cheng capped the six-run rally with a two-run, ground-rule double to left-center.

Bradenton would add another run in the fifth on a Cheng RBI-single, and in the eighth, a Rodolfo Nolasco RBI-double and a run-scoring groundout by Bowen stretched the team’s lead to 9-0.

After Del Rosario finished on the mound for the Marauders, relievers Jake Sweeney and Darvin Garcia tossed a scoreless sixth and seventh, respectively.
