No. 17 Hokies' Tuesday game at ETSU postponed by weather

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Tuesday’s baseball game between No. 17 Virginia Tech and ETSU – originally scheduled for 5 p.m. at Thomas Stadium in Johnson City, Tennessee – has been postponed indefinitely due to inclement cold weather forecast for the Tri-Cities region, as announced on Monday evening by the ETSU athletic department.

The game has yet to be rescheduled and details on future scheduling will be announced at a later date.

With Tuesday’s postponement, Virginia Tech (12-4, 1-2 ACC) is now scheduled to resume its 2023 regular season schedule on Friday, March 17, when the Hokies begin a three-game ACC series at Miami. First pitch at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field in Coral Gables, Florida, is scheduled for 8 p.m. with televised coverage airing on ACC Network.
