USC Baseball Falls in Second Game at Arizona State

PHOENIX, Ariz. – The USC baseball team dropped its second game on the road at Arizona State on Saturday, falling 17-2 to the Sun Devils.
 
USC falls to 20-23 overall and 10-9 in Pac-12 play. The Sun Devils move to 22-21 on the year and 12-11 in conference action.
 
USC gave up five runs in the first to ASU and was never able to recover. The Sun Devils added multiple runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings, putting the game away with a six-run sixth.
 
The Trojans scored their first run on a Jacob Galloway single in the fourth inning. Luca DiPaolo had a pinch-hit RBI double in the ninth.
