It’s been a rough season overall for the defending national champion LSU baseball team, but it seems to be figuring things out a bit down the stretch.
The Tigers (28-17) won three of four games last week including a series win over Auburn, and that gave the Tigers back-to-back weekend wins after beginning SEC play 0-5 in series. LSU hosts the No. 1 team in the nation this weekend as Texas A&M comes to town, but first, it will play Grambling (18-22) at home on Tuesday night.
The Tigers are 15-6 in SWAC play despite their losing record overall, and they’re searching for their first-ever win over LSU. Here’s what you need to know to watch on Tuesday night.
- Date: Tuesday, April 30
- Location: Skip Bertman Field at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge
- Time: 6:30 p.m. CT
- Live Stream: SEC Network+
- Radio: LSU Radio Network
LSU leads the all-time series 12-0. The series dates to 2009 with all matchups coming in Baton Rouge. The most recent meeting was last March with LSU earning a 17-5 run-rule victory.
