LSU softball rises in 3 of 4 major polls entering SEC tournament

SEC play didn’t end how the LSU softball team wanted to as it dropped its final four series to finish with a 12-12 conference record. But coach Beth Torina’s Tigers got some momentum back over the weekend, taking two of three against a solid mid-major opponent in Liberty.

Now, LSU is preparing for the SEC tournament this week in Auburn, Alabama. The Tigers are the No. 8 seed and will begin their postseason run on Wednesday against No. 9-seeded Alabama.
