Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Omaha Postponed – OurSports Central

Loss Drops RailRiders to Worst Mark of Season

August 27, 2022 – International League (IL)Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders News Release

PAPILLION, NE – The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders game against the Omaha Storm Chasers, scheduled for Saturday evening at Werner Park in Papillion, Nebraska, was postponed due to inclement weather. The RailRiders and Storm Chasers will play a doubleheader on Sunday to conclude their only series this season.


Scranton/Wilkes-Barre had a game at St. Paul postponed last Thursday and swept a twinbill last Saturday with the Saints, putting them at 10-10 in doubleheader games this season.

Ryan Weber and Shawn Semple are slated to start for the RailRiders against Austin Cox and Max Castillo for the Storm Chasers. First pitch in game one is set for 1:05 P.M. CT. The RailRiders return to PNC Field for a set against the Syracuse Mets starting on Tuesday, August 30, at 6:35 P.M.
